Guess who's BACK? BACK Again!  I AM BACK! Tell your friends 😜  Hey friends! It's me Jess! Bringing back my 5 year old writing skills to shares some giggles. So get ready to ignore the grammar and spelling and let's have some FUN!  Life Update since my last (sad) post..... I got pregnant again, thought we were having a second miscarriage but thankfully it was just a little scare. We remodeled my late Grandma's apartment and moved back to Perry. The world shut down because of ya know.... C*VID. I joined a beauty company that has changed everything! We welcomed our perfect Rainbow baby into the world after a terrible labor (stay tuned). We bought a house and started remodeling it in January. We moved into it in March and have enjoyed having more space. We bought a camper the end of summer and started making memories camping. We celebrated our baby boy turning ONE! The world finally got back to normal (for the most part) and we have been having so much fun! So that is the

It’s so unfair

Miscarriage... something you never want to experience yet so many do! 1 in 4 women will have a miscarriage... 1 in 4!!! That is huge but people don’t talk about. Nobody prepares you for that type of pain. Rewind to September 14th- the day we found out we were going to be parents!! It was a day of JOY, tears, and happiness! A day we had prayed for since we got married! We were only about 3 weeks pregnant so it was a very hard secret to keep while waiting for our first ultrasound. Of course we told our parents around week 4 because we just couldn’t wait any longer!!  October 17th- Trey’s 34th birthday and our first ultrasound! What a wonderful birthday present for him and of course I kept reminding him of that  ♥️  the emotions of seeing our baby on that screen are indescribable! We were measuring 8 weeks and 1 day and were given a due date of May 30th to meet Baby C!  We could finally share our news with the world! We initially thought we would wait until we kn

Life got busy

It’s been awhile since I’ve written anything.... and a lot has happened in 2 years.    A tragic accident hit my hometown in November 2017 that rocked my world and the world of some dear friends. I couldn’t ever find the words and then I just quit blogging.  I’ll give you the short version of what’s happened so far: Fast forward to a month later (Dec 2017) and I met the most amazing man! I’ll post that love story soon!  ♥️  Life moved quickly.... its been scary, fantastic, wonderful, sad and all things in between.  I moved to Tallahassee and unfortunately my baby dinosaur Huck  🦖  just couldn’t quite get adjusted which was extremely difficult. Some behavior changes also made life really hard. So some very tough decisions had to be made and we had to say goodbye to my baby dinosaur in June of 2018.  While life has blessed us tremendously it has also been very unfair.... fast forward to November 2018 where we lost Brew... our baby nugget  🐗  to seizures. Nothing prepar

Death

Last week was reallllll rough....it was a week of mourning.... for my fat. Sorry I didn't actually die I might be a little dramatic but it's the closest thing I can imagine to what death feels like. So T H R E E years ago when I was in MUCH better shape a group of us ladies used to take a workout class called Tone & Sculpt I call it Tone & Death because the first class I attended I had to bite down on my t-shirt to keep from vomiting!! It was rough!  Now I've done a P90X, Insanity, T25, Jillian Michaels, Shaun T video, you name it I've struggled through it but nothing compares to Vanessa....our own personal drill sergeant who never leaves home without her violin because she doesn't know the word sympathy and tears actually fuel her!! So anywho Life happened and got busy and that class came to an end and three years went by....some people had babies, some people stayed in the gym, some people went months without the gym (Me) so you know how that go

Labor is hard

6 months ago today I experienced probably one of the hardest things ever! I was getting ready for work when the water broke.... HOLY CRAP! TODAY IS THE DAY!?!?! I don't think I'm ready! I mean I knew this day would come but OMG like its time!!!! I rush to Tallahassee....why I don't know. They put you in one room to check you then you wait then they move you to another room then you wait. Like why the heck is there so much waiting..... There is a baby trying to come out! Ummmm.... Hello let's get the ball rolling. Well I'm sure many of you know once you get nice and comfortable that's when things start to happen! The contractions started getting closer and closer and more intense with each one. Everyone in the room could see them coming. It would be a team effort. You pull here, you push here, you fan here, chapstick now, water... tiny break.... then REPEAT! The Doctor came in at one point and was like it'll be a few hours but you are progressing nicely.

Don't let hate win

I wasn't prepared for what I would hear early yesterday morning when I got in my car and started to drive to work. It was about 5:40 am Monday October 2nd I was listening to 94.9 FM and it took a few minutes for me to even realize what had happened because the poor radio host could barely form sentences and he too was processing what had happened. When he finally said the words there has been a shooting in Las Vegas at an outdoor Country Music Festival, several are dead and multiple are injured....my heart sank! I couldn't help but think about all of the times I have been to Vegas or even an outdoor concert. My first time in Vegas I went to an outdoor concert while there then my next two trips to Vegas were for very large events that this could have easily happened at. The thought literally makes me sick to my stomach. By 6:15 am videos, snaps, tweets, photos, news articles, and posts were everywhere. All I could do was cry while I read detail after detail and watched videos o

Look out World my baby dinosaur turned F O U R today and he is ready to take on the world!! A few milestones we have hit just this year  Had his first sleepover out the Beach travel trailer Survived his first Hurricane (BARELY) NOW SLEEPS AT NIGHT!!!! Read that again! ----- Now Sleeps at Night ---- yep! Gimme all the praise hands!!! This is HUGE!  The past four years have been sleepless nights but we have now graduated from that  nonsense  and now we are a BIG BOY! Happy Dance Time!! His favorite thing is still the same BARKING! God Bless America I will never be able to break him of that so I am learning to embrace it.... I mean who doesn't love loud outbursts of hysterical barking  at random times throughout the day the night....ALL THE DAMN TIME  {insert eye roll}   His Grandpa (My daddy) and Car rides come in at a pretty close tie of what he likes more. He can be in one of his barking fits and I can whisper the word "GRANDPA"
